Other than a video to encode, an online location, such as an  FTP site / Rackspace Account / Amazon S3 account is pretty handy for storing your source video files. A similar online destination is ideal to send your encoded video files. No further technical knowledge is necessary to use our web interface or watch folder feature.  Our Desktop Application and web GUI are also prepared to accept files stored locally from your computer, though we advise online storage to circumvent any connectivity issues, whether it be wifi or computer performance.  If you would like to integrate your website or application with our API, you will need a basic understanding of XML and a programming language to make XML requests (PHP, Ruby, Cold Fusion, VBScript, or C#).
