To configure a brand new watch folder, follow the steps below. Please note that you can configure this for Rackspace, Amazon S3 or (S)FTP. We are using FTP as an example in this case.

In the Folder URL field enter a FTP folder in the format ftp://myusername:password@myftpserver.com/video_in

Add an email address in the Notify URL field form “mailto: email@yourdomain.com“

Alternatively you can enter a http URL of the script the result would be posted to

Select a time frequency you would like our system to check your folder for new video files Checking Frequency

Enter one or more Destinations urls in the format ftp://myusername:password@myftpserver.com/video_out 

Click Save and enter a encoding profile for this watch folder.
